Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
At North Tahoe Aviation, we reserve aircraft, pilots and fuel specifically for your scheduled experience. Because of the unique nature of scenic flight operations, the following policies apply to all bookings. Our goal is to provide you with a safe, fun and adventurous experience. These policies are necessary to maintain our schedule and costs.
No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive for your scheduled flight will be considered a no-show.
No-shows are non-refundable and will not be rescheduled.
Rescheduling Policy
72 hours or more prior to your scheduled flight:
You may reschedule your booking at no charge, subject to availability.Within 72 hours of your scheduled flight:
Changes or rescheduling requests may incur a change fee of up to $200.
Rescheduled flights are subject to current availability and pricing.
Cancellation Policy
More than 72 hours before your flight:
Cancellations may incur a booking/processing fee.Within 72 hours of your flight:
Cancellations may be subject to a fee of up to $200 per booking.
Refund eligibility, when applicable, is determined at the discretion of North Tahoe Aviation.
Late Arrival Policy
Guests are required to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time.
Parties arriving more than 10 minutes late may experience:
A reduction in available flight time, or
Forfeiture of the flight entirely
In either case, no refund will be issued.
Weather Policy
Safety is our top priority. Weather conditions in the Lake Tahoe region can change rapidly and may impact flight operations.
All weather-related cancellations are determined solely at the discretion of North Tahoe Aviation.
If a flight is canceled due to weather and you have not previously rescheduled, you may be offered a rescheduled flight.
If you have already rescheduled your booking once, additional weather-related rescheduling may not be permitted.
North Tahoe Aviation may modify the flight route or duration due to weather, air traffic, or safety considerations.
Weather decisions are final and made with passenger safety as the primary concern.
Weight Restrictions
All aircraft operate under strict weight restrictions established for safety and regulatory compliance, and for the protection of our passengers and crew, these limits cannot be exceeded under any circumstances.If the combined weight of your group exceeds the aircraft’s certified maximum allowable limit, your flight may be modified or canceled without refund.
Operational Discretion
North Tahoe Aviation reserves the right to:
Refuse service for safety reasons
Adjust routing, timing, or duration of flights
Reschedule or cancel flights due to operational, safety, or weather considerations
All policies are in place to ensure fairness, safety, and operational integrity.
