Cancellation, Rescheduling & Weather

Our goal is to give you a safe, fun and adventurous experience. We reserve the aircraft, pilot and fuel specifically for your flight, so these policies apply to all scenic flight bookings.

Cancellation Policy

72+ hours before your flightCancel for a full refund, with no fee.
Within 72 hoursCancellations may not be possible or may be subject to a fee of up to $150 per booking.

Any refund for a cancellation within 72 hours of your flight is at the discretion of North Tahoe Aviation. Cancellations due to weather are covered by our weather policy below.

Rescheduling Policy

72+ hours before your flightReschedule at no charge, subject to availability.
Within 72 hoursChanges may incur a change fee of up to $150.

Rescheduled flights are subject to current availability and pricing.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
  • If your party arrives more than 15 minutes late, your flight time may be shortened or the flight may be forfeited. In either case, no refund will be issued.
  • Not arriving for your scheduled flight is considered a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable and can't be rescheduled.

Weather Policy

Safety is our top priority. Weather in the Lake Tahoe region can change quickly and may affect flight operations.

  • All weather-related cancellations are decided by North Tahoe Aviation.
  • If we cancel your flight because of weather, you can choose a rescheduled flight or a full refund.
  • If you've already rescheduled once, additional weather-related rescheduling may not be available.
  • We may change the route or length of a flight because of weather, air traffic or safety.

Weather decisions are final and are always made with passenger safety first.

Weight Restrictions

Our aircraft operate under strict weight limits for safety and regulatory compliance. To protect our passengers and crew, these limits can't be exceeded under any circumstances.

  • The combined weight of your group can't exceed 600 lbs.
  • If your group is over the aircraft's limit, your flight may be modified or canceled without a refund.

Operational Discretion

North Tahoe Aviation reserves the right to:

  • Refuse service for safety reasons
  • Adjust the routing, timing or length of flights
  • Reschedule or cancel flights for operational, safety or weather reasons
